Sara gained a degree in fashion textiles from Winchester School of Art and worked successfully during the 1990s as a designer for many prominent brands.
Fashion eventually evolved into interior design and Sara started her company Inspired Interiors in 1999. Fine art was always her calling though and in 2018 she joined Wimbledon Art Studios and began to paint regularly.
Sara works in oils and specialises in landscapes, inspired by places she’s visited. Colour and strong light sources are ever present in her work, and Sara is interested in the effect of man-made structures in defining the geometry of landscapes.
